Studio 7 Architecture developing set design for TEDxAmericanRiviera 2012
Britt Jewett of Studio 7 Architecture & Allied Arts in Santa Barbara has once again been chosen as set designer for the backdrop for TEDxAmericanRiviera. This year’s conference theme will be “The Unthinkable” and will offer over twenty compelling speakers, artists, designers, musicians, philanthropists sharing their advice and stories to an eager audience.
No stranger to stage design, this will be the third consecutive year Britt Jewett has contributed his efforts to create a breathtaking scene on a bare bones stage. Since the inception of the TEDx American Riviera show in 2010, Britt has been the favored architect and art director.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is called TEDxAmericanRiviera, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAmericanRiviera event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
